The beauty of heels, some might argue otherwise, is the structure. I love staring at heels with unique structures. Like architecture, heels give definition to a woman's feet. Back arched, toes tipped, the girl next door can easily be transformed into a fatal femme.
A really uniquely structured pair of heels that baffles me is the "backward heel shoes" by Marc Jacobs.
Seemingly heel-less, you'd think walking in them would require crazy difficulty, but the women who can afford this $1000+ pedi-wonder claim otherwise. The 'missing heel' can be found lying horizontally on the base of the shoe, construing the illusion of a ill-proportioned pair of shoes.
Prada toyed with the idea of structure in terms of design this year, taking something as simple as flaps and creating art out of it. It is, in every sense, loud. Patent and gimmicky, the heels are definitely an acquired taste; loved by some, hated by others.

I love shoes! Or heels to be exact, but how do you wear Marc Jacobs "backward-heels"? It seemed as though when i step into it the back of the heels will fall and unable to support me. I dont but I would love to own a pair of similar heel!
I love the booties. :) But I don't agree with heels. I have a firm belief that they are bad for your feet because they cause your calf muscles to shrink and cause the ball in your knee cap to rub against some part and wear some other part out. (um, I'm not good in Bio.) BUT ANYWAY, they are bad. Period. But they are so nice. :D
I think wearing heels give the lady another sense of confidence but, yes, it depends on choosing the right type of heels.
i like the uniqueness design of Marc Jacobs... I guess very hard to balance!
I saw something similar design of Moschino's booties at Korea, now its HOT over there... BUT its painful to wear... as the front part of the shoes is narrow...
My sis wanted to buy that kind of shoes BUT its doesn't feel comfortable at all... What's a shame!!!

I agree with Fang, heels do give ladies some sense of confidence. Well as for me. It just lift me up and gave me height! I guess that's part of the reason why i love heels.
The backward heels looks pretty cool... but it feels as if i might be walking on thin air rightt??
